This beautiful book features images of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and journal entries by photographer Subhankar Banerjee. The purchase of this book from CCH helps cover the costs of the Arctic speaking tour in Hawai‘i in 2004.
Hawaii Wildlife Viewing Guide by Jeanne L. Clark
CCH is a partner in promoting and distributing the newly released Hawaii Wildlife Viewing Guide (www.hawaiiwildlife.org). This excellent publication – written by Jeanne L. Clark – is a multi-agency/organization project developed in cooperation with Watchable Wildlife, Inc. It features over 30 carefully selected wildlife viewing sites on Kaua'i, Oahu, Lānai, Maui, and Hawaii. It includes color photographs of featured plants and animals, information on the Hawaiian cultural significance of wildlife, and tips on how to step lightly when visiting the viewing areas. $20 includes shipping and handling.
